Book Club

The April book was one of the best reads.  It was easy and the story was one that kept you on the edge of your seat.  The book “Scars” should be read by every person that wants to see a glimpse at the end times.  Really written well.

The June book is titled “Dogwood”  a Christian novel.  The story of Will Hatfield who was sentenced to Clarkeston Federal prison, but he is about to be released in two months.  He has a great desire to see the family farm in Dogwood, West Virginia, and Karin is the only woman he ever loved.  When he went to prison, she never answered his letters as she made a new life for herself.   When Will comes home, he is not greeted like the prodigal son as most locals believe he should have spent his life in prison for his crimes; even his brother would be happier if he left.  He is attacked at the place he used to work and the town tries to take the farm away.  This book has lots of twists and turns.  Can’t wait to read it.
